August and September 2018 Updates

Over the last several weeks, ESEA's engineering teams have been hard at work. Below are some of the changes that have been deployed.

Client Team

  • Added skins for new verified ESEA Clubs
  • Localization updates to multiple language translations
  • Fixed several rare crashes and performance issues
  • Various bug fixes and internal improvements

Platform Team

  • Fixed bug resulting in poor aim server performance at round end
  • Fixed spectator bug in scrim servers resulting in poor performance
  • Added Seoul game servers to our global fleet of game servers
  • Fixed scrim server .clip crash for coaches
  • Various bug fixes and internal improvements

Web Team

  • Overhauled .Clip of the Week to work with .clip
  • Released Reaction Time update to ESEA Leaderboards
  • New Knowledge Base to replace legacy FAQs
  • Updated localization framework
  • Client and Subscribe landing pages are now automatically localized
  • Users are now able to connect their Discord account to their ESEA profile
  • Improved efficiency of the ESEA Event System when assigning teams
  • Markdown is now supported in Club descriptions
  • Beautified Club point settings panel
  • Club member lists are now sortable
  • Improved usability of Club management panel
  • Club owners can now specify map pools for their clubs
  • Club owners are now able to restrict Club divisions by rank
  • Check if a user has been VAC banned for CS:GO or TF2 instead of all VAC and game bans
  • Changes related to alias policy updates
  • Cash prize winners will now be required to confirm their identity to redeem their prize
  • Various miscellaneous updates to ESEA Clubs to improve usability
  • Various bug fixes and internal improvements
